Evolution of DCC
There are 57 district cyber centres (DCC) in Hong Kong, which provide information and communication technology (ICT) related training, programme and service to the needy group within community. Since April 2012, the Information Technology Resource Centre (ITRC) of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) takes over the gernal operations of DCC Corrdination Office, that in-charge of the overall coordination and administrative works. She aims to provide special offers for hardware and software procurements, technical support services and training materials, as of coping with the demends of ICT services at community level.
